Interrogating mechanisms of diabetes remission using snRNA-seq of adipose tissue
This study aims to investigate the transcriptional regulation in patients with Type-2 diabetes remittance, wherein the fat distribution in the patients undergoing bariatric surgery. The before and after surgery time points are investigated with the snRNA-seq method. The data was generated from 10X Chromium snRNA-seq of adipose tissues to achieve these aims. My responsibilities were to implement, parameterise and standardise the snRNA-seq pipeline on Imperial HPC and preliminary QA/QC of the data. To achieve these, I have utilised CellBender, DoubletFinder, souporcell, Cellsnp-lite, Vireo, Michigan Imputation Server and other various tools. This project is completed and the technical report of the pipeline was circulated to collaborators.
